Why you should never ever go to a Business Broker to buy a business.

Brokers charge the seller somewhere between 5% and 10% of the sales value they achieve. That will likely get passed to you, the buyer. Therefore, it's in the interest of both the Broker AND the seller to push for the highest price from day one AND he has a real benefit if he can get buyers into a bidding war.
Going OFF MARKET, meaning you find the opportunities yourself, means there is no bidding war, there is no Broker fee to pay, there are zero hoops to jump through before you actually get to speak to a seller and there is (with my workshop strategy) a way to get the sellers to come to you (meaning you're in charge from day 1) AND a very simple way to qualify that a seller is serious about selling, not just tyre kicking.
